Kaleshwar Temple is located near Moje Vishnupuri (Taluka Nanded), about 6–7 km from Nanded city.
Situated on the banks of the Godavari River, the temple dates back to the 13th century, making it nearly 800 years old.
With the construction of the Vishnupuri Project nearby, the surrounding area has become extremely picturesque.
As a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, it attracts a large number of devotees during the Shravan month, including visitors from other states.
