About District

Nanded is a historical place in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra state. It is situated on the northern bank of the Godavari River. It is famous for Sikh Gurudwaras. Nanded is a city of ancient times. The Pandavas are said to have travelled through the Nanded district during the Puranic period.
