Unkeshwar is located in Kinwat Taluka of Nanded district, on the border of Nanded and Yavatmal districts, approximately 180 km from Nanded. The Unkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a renowned religious shrine and tourist attraction.
Built in the Hemadpanthi architectural style, the temple परिसर features natural hot water springs and bathing tanks. Warm water flows naturally from these springs throughout the year.
According to popular belief, bathing in this water helps in curing skin diseases and white patches.
A religious fair is held here every Monday during the Shravan month and on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. During this period, a large number of devotees from within the state and other states visit the temple.
