Bavari Nagar Dabhad Mahavihar is an important Buddhist pilgrimage centre located about 7 km from Nanded city on the Nanded–Bhokar road (National Highway No. 161).

The Mahavihar परिसर includes a meditation centre, a multi-purpose hall, residential facilities for bhikkhus and bhikkhunis, a dining hall, and a full-scale Ashoka Pillar. The Ashoka Pillar stands at approximately 65 feet in height and is constructed from red stone brought from Madhya Pradesh.

Every year, on the occasion of Paush Purnima, the All India Buddhist Dhamma Conference is organized here. Eminent bhikkhus invited from India and abroad deliver Dhamma discourses during the conference. To benefit from these discourses, lakhs of upasaks and upasikas visit the Mahavihar.

With its message of social awareness, peace, and compassion, this sacred site has gained special recognition as one of the most influential Dhamma centres in South India.
