Sahastrakund Waterfall

Sahastrakund Waterfall is located on the Painganga River near Sahastrakund village in Himayatnagar Taluka of Nanded district. Owing to its scenic natural beauty, it is recognized as an important tourist destination.
The area comprises approximately 6,000 natural rock pools, and during the monsoon season, the waterfall offers a spectacular panoramic view.

The site is situated about 70 km from Nanded headquarters. Access is available via the South Central Railway, and the nearest railway station lies about 5 km to the north of the waterfall.
A large number of tourists from within the state as well as from other states visit the site every year.
